33.3 km for Felisberto

Please help Felisberto keep going with the physiotherapy he needs after his stroke.

In May, I will swim 33.3 km in Croatia. I am doing it to help Felisberto continue the treatment that gives him the best chance of gaining more independence.

Why I am swimming for Felisberto

Felisberto was a fitness trainer with international experience. Movement, discipline and helping other people become stronger were a big part of his life.

After suffering a stroke, he lost his speech and the movement on the right side of his body. Since then, he has been facing a long and very demanding recovery, working hard to regain abilities that most of us take for granted.

What has moved me most is not only how hard he works, but the way he faces it. Felisberto has kept his warmth, sense of humour and positive spirit. I have thought about that many times during difficult training sessions.

He now needs support to continue the physiotherapy that is helping him move forward. This page is a simple way for friends, family and anyone touched by his story to help.

His courage, humour and positivity have stayed with me through training, and I hope his story reaches more people too.

Training stories and open-water reflections

This is where I will share stories from training and from taking part in long-distance open-water crossings and events, including the moments that test the body, the mind and the reason behind this swim.

The challenge ahead

Ultra-distance swimming is never just about kilometres. It is about patience, preparation and finding purpose when the water gets difficult.

Training through discomfort

Cold water, long sessions and difficult conditions are part of the preparation. These moments help build the resilience I will need in Croatia.

The reason behind the swim

Felisberto’s recovery gives this challenge its meaning. His determination is a reminder that every contribution can support another step forward.
